Here we are, our favorite time of year, harvest! So many good local veggies to be had. Corn and tomatoes are still plentiful and winter squashes are starting to make an entrance. We scooped up the first of the Delicata’s from Plowbreak Farm as soon as they offered them. We are serving them lightly steamed so we can taste all their natural sweetness.
Many of our miso’s are ready for jarring. This week I will be bringing down Red Bean and Rice. Tasty and rich. We seasoned our miso soup with this miso and you. Every week I hope to season the soup with one of miso’s so you can experience it’s flavor. Jars will be available for purchase.
