Hello, you wilted daisies! How about this humidity? The official meteorological term for weather like this is "sultry" -- which makes it sound a lot nicer than it is.

First things first: an announcement that we will NOT BE AT THE FARMERS MARKET ON SATURDAY, JULY 21. As we do every year, we will be taking this weekend off. Some of our kitchen staff will be gallivanting at Grassroots festival; some of us will be zooming north in search of cooler weather; some of us will just enjoy the peace and quiet of our own homes. Taking a mid-summer break from the hot, hard work of the kitchen is so important to our well-being. I hope that you're all able to do the same, whether you are festival-goers or homebodies.

Other than that, we WILL be there tomorrow at Dewitt Park, serving a delicious meal from 9-2 PM. Even better, we'll be back in our normal spot on Buffalo Street, as construction is completed and the topsy-turvy Buffalo-Cayuga-Court St. block can now settle back into calm.

We'll see you there!
